We have a new website

Oops. It's been almost two weeks since my last newsletter. How time flies. And how flies are a timeless nuisance.

What is my excuse this time? Well, as I told you in my previous newsletter, we set up our new AI team, FairAim-AI, and now we have its website done, too. Have a look and tell what you think.

Starting something new is always exciting. It takes a few decades off from your age and gives you something to look forward to.

I know we are on the wrong side of the hard work with this AI journey. There will be setbacks and challenges, but my gut feeling is that we are again up to something unique and valuable.

In 1991, when Tatu Kuivalahti and I founded To The Point Ltd in Finland, we didn't know anything about business, we didn't have customers, and we didn't have anything but our intuitive understanding of the revolution that would take place in communications, storytelling and collaboration. We ended up employing 60 full-time designers, developers, and other creatives and winning more awards than our competitors combined. It was like a dream come true.

Now, over 30 years later, I can again see a seismic shift in those areas due to AI, and I can't resist staying just an onlooker. I want to get my hands dirty with this new thing and see where it takes me—and the world. If I can help younger talents find their feet at the same time, it's a home run with steroids.

Is this my swan song, or is it just an old man out of tune and without a tuning fork? It remains to be seen. Nevertheless, I can hear the music and want to be in this band on the run again.

So, sorry about the short and snappy newsletter. I go back to my AI cave to dig some jewels.
